Terms of Service
Updated February 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LatticeZero platform and services ("the Service") operated by LatticeZero ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
LatticeZero provides computational molecular docking and scoring tools delivered via a web-based platform. The Service uses physics-based scoring functions and WebGPU-accelerated compute to evaluate predicted binding interactions between protein receptor structures and small-molecule compound libraries.
Results are computational predictions. Docking scores, binding affinity rankings, and pose evaluations generated by the Service are based on mathematical models of physical interactions. They do not constitute experimental validation of biological activity, binding affinity, or therapeutic efficacy.
2. Account Terms
- One account per user. Each user must register with a valid email address and maintain a single account.
- Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at security@latticezero.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
The Service is intended for:
- Scientific research and computational chemistry
- Drug discovery and pharmaceutical development
- Academic and educational purposes
- Commercial molecular screening and hit identification
Prohibited uses. You may not use the Service for:
- Development of chemical, biological, or radiological weapons
- Design or optimization of controlled substances intended for illegal distribution
- Circumventing drug safety regulations or approval processes
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the scoring algorithms
- Automated scraping or bulk extraction of platform data beyond API rate limits
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including receptor structures (PDB files), compound libraries (SDF, MOL2, SMILES), and all scoring results generated from your data. LatticeZero does not claim any rights, title, or interest in your uploaded data or results.
4.2 Our Platform
The LatticeZero scoring engine, algorithms, source code, user interface, documentation, and platform infrastructure are the intellectual property of LatticeZero and are protected by applicable copyright and trade secret laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use the Service as described in these Terms.
4.3 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback about the Service, we may use that feedback without obligation to you.
5. Data Handling
Uploaded molecular structures are processed solely for the purpose of providing the scoring and docking services you request. See our Privacy Policy for complete details on data retention, storage, and deletion.
6. Computational Results Disclaimer
Docking scores are physics-based predictions, not experimental measurements. The Service evaluates molecular interactions using computational models that approximate physical forces. These predictions:
- Do not guarantee biological activity, binding affinity, or therapeutic efficacy
- Should be validated experimentally before making decisions about compound progression
- May vary based on input quality, receptor preparation, and scoring profile selection
- Are subject to the inherent limitations of physics-based molecular modeling (rigid receptor, no explicit solvent, no entropy estimation)
LatticeZero is not liable for any decisions made based on scoring results, including but not limited to compound selection, synthesis prioritization, or clinical development decisions.
7. Service Availability
We provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. The current version does not include a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice via email or in-platform notification. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption during maintenance windows.
8. Fees and Payment
The Service is currently available in beta at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, usage-based pricing, or subscription plans in the future. Any pricing changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' advance notice.
9. Termination
- By you. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@latticezero.com or using the account settings page.
- By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited use, or if we discontinue the Service.
- Effect of termination. Upon termination, your data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days unless you request data export or retention. Shield Mode data is deleted immediately upon job completion regardless of account status.
10. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LATTICEZERO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any computational predictions or scoring results generated by the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any interruption or cessation of the Service
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LatticeZero, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
