LZ Packs
LZ Packs are pre-validated target bundles provided by LatticeZero. Each pack includes a prepared receptor, optimized scoring profile, reference actives and decoys, and published benchmark results. They're the fastest way to get production-ready scoring on well-studied targets.

What's in a LZ Pack?
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| Receptor Grid | Pre-computed scoring grid ready for IsoPose/IsoScore |
| Scoring Profile | Optimized weights validated against DEKOIS2 benchmarks |
| Reference Actives | Known active compounds with 3D poses |
| Reference Decoys | Matched decoys for benchmarking |
| Manifest | Metadata including target class, AUC, pose source, validation stats |
Available LZ Packs (46 targets)
LZ Packs span 46 validated targets across multiple protein families. Poses are generated using three docking engines:
- GA — Genetic Algorithm (LZ Dock 2.0)
- FFT — Fast Fourier Transform grid docking
- AMR — Adaptive Multi-Resolution docking

Using LZ Packs
Browsing the Library
- Go to Target Library in the sidebar, or navigate to
/packs - Click the LZ Packs tab
- Use the search bar to find targets by name or class
- Filter by pose source (GA, FFT, AMR, External)
- Click column headers to sort by target name, AUC, class, or ligand count
Loading a Pack
- Find your target in the LZ Packs table
- Click Download to get the bundle
- Import the bundle into your project — the target, profile, and reference compounds load automatically
Scoring with a LZ Pack
Once loaded, the pack's target and profile are ready to use:
- Go to Workbench > IsoScore (or IsoPose)
- Select the LZ Pack target
- Upload your own ligands
- The optimized profile is automatically selected
- Click Run
Validating the Pack
To verify the pack works on your system:
- After loading, click Run Benchmark
- This scores the included reference actives and decoys
- Compare your AUC to the published value
- Results should match within ±0.02 AUC
Building Your Own Pack
You can create your own validated bundles for proprietary targets:
- Prepare your target using Target Prep
- Optimize a profile using the Optimizer with your known actives/decoys
- Validate by running the benchmark and checking AUC
- Save the target, profile, and reference compounds as a project
Next Steps
